We're a modern-day music variety show filmed at D.C.’s legendary 9:30 Club. “Live At 9:30” puts you front-and-center for the best performances at what Rolling Stone named "Best Big Room in America," one action-packed hour at a time.
Each episode spotlights a unique roster of special guests and a diverse range of featured talent. From music to comedy. From alt-rock to soul to synthpop. From emerging stars to living legends.
Premiering this spring on public television, “Live At 9:30” will bring you a new hour-long episode each month. And Liveat9:30.com will have all the never-before-seen footage, photos, interviews and highlights.
A perennial “Nightclub of the Year,” according to Rolling Stone and Billboard, Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club has been a favorite tour stop for acts across all genres throughout its 35-year history.
Recurring segments will include comedy bits by Hannibal Buress, Jill Kargman, Ralphie May, Lavell Crawford and Adam Ferrara, as well as interviews by Henry Rollins and NPR Music’s Bob Boilen.
“Live At 9:30” is hosted by Squarespace, combining powers with the 9:30 Club to do what they both do best: present talented people in their best light for the world to see.
